Backhand Chop

With this exercise you trick your opponent by tapping the ball at the very last moment. It is important that the chop is performed correctly. When the tap is too soft, the ball will not lift over the stick of your opponent and when the tap is too hard, the ball will shoot too far away, and you will no longer have control over the ball.

Bring the ball on the left side behind your body. Tap the ball to chop the ball over the bar. Control the ball by stopping it with your stick. Once you get the hang of it, try speeding it up.
